THE BEGINNINGS

This slightly madcap idea was made real by Eric GALLARDO in 2005 from a notion already formed in 1989 whilst teaching ice driving to professional test drivers which he did until 1997.

During the winter of 2006, Eric conducted the first Laponie Ice Driving session. In 2009 the first significant investment was made in a set of private circuits equipped with a scale replica of the Paul Ricard Formula 1 circuit (a world first).
