Set up every winter for the exclusive use of "Laponie Ice Driving", the tracks are in private use and exceed the infrastructures of the car manufacturers present in Arjeplog in size, quality and diversity.
"Laponie Ice Driving" is even more exclusive for 2012, integrating a total of 9 tracks and 2 Club Houses on an area of 500 acre divided up into 2 distinct zones :

This warm, friendly area is a place to rest and talk between driving series and you can relax and share your experiences in a warm, “cosi” atmosphere while enjoying an expresso, a tea, a refreshment or the famous Swedish cookies. 2012 will see the arrival of TV plugged in to Eurosport, and, for those who need to continue business... WIFI will be available...

In 2012, a second "Le Castellet" track will be added to the “Laponie Ice Driving” facility.
As in 2009, 2010 and 2011, both of these 2 tracks will be the “scale 1” reproduction of the famous « Paul Ricard » track, in its “Formula One” version (2.4 miles long). Everything is faithfully reproduced:
the impressive Mistral straight (where a top speed of 130 mph can be reached with the EVO IX), the curve of "Signes", the “Beausset double right” bend, the bend of the Bridge: a peak in high speed motion pleasure.
Objectives targetted:

After the Hockenheim Ring in 2011, we have decide to retain the famous Silverstone Circuit (to be confirmed) to please our English customers in its 3.2 miles version. This Mecca of Formula 1 Racing is known for its mad speeds and will give you high adrenalin, especially in the “Chapel” S curves
Objectives targetted:

These 2 Skid Pads cover an area of 25 acre each (2000 x 400 feet). You will be starting on these tracks
Maneuvers to be carried out :

Two concentric circles with an inner circle (also called « medium circle ») measuring 750 feet in diameter and the outer circle (also called « big circle ») measuring more than 1000 feet in diameter are at your disposal. Each of these circles is about 100 feet wide!! These circles can be compared to huge round-abouts; the outer circle stretches over half mile !! These circles are designed to allow infinite drifting around 75 mph for the « big circle ».
Maneuvers to be carried out:

The previous "2011 Technical" track will be extended in 2012 from 1.6 to 2.3 miles (+ 45 %) to follow the same line as "La Ferté Gaucher" track near Paris: with its many turns and combinations, it is designed for car speeds up to 75 mph.
Objectives targetted:

A one mile long Technical track is being developed for our “B to B” customers. Its main feature will be its width (approximately 40 feet) which will enable even the beginners to try the art of swinging from one turn to the next one, without spin-outs and the need for help from the emergency vehicle.
Objectives targetted :
All these infrastructures are made and maintained by CARTEST AB, one of the leading specialists in the building and maintenance of ice tracks and also supplier to quite a number of car manufacturers.
The tracks are made visible by driving a snow plough, which removes the powder snow covering the ice. The snow removed is then blown away by powerful machines. The tracks are therefore edged by a bank of fresh snow, allowing the vehicles to come softly to a halt in the event of skidding off track. Vehicle damage is then limited to minor spoiler damages, the lower body and other plastic fairings.
The final touch is given by a « snow-grader » which scrapes the ground for optimal grip and perfect flatness.
The tracks are built accurately and in compliance with the plans, thanks to GPS localization.
