Hornovan de nuit

Laponie Ice Driving entrants will be welcomed at Hotel HORNAVAN.

Located on the banks of lake HORNAVAN (the longest and deepest lake in Sweden – 220 metres long), just 10 minutes from the Laponie Ice Driving facilities, this *** hotel, the most recent in Arjeplog, has 60 rooms and a staff devoted to Laponie Ice Driving customers, with 20 rooms ( 1/3 of the hotel’s capacity) reserved for us for the whole of the winter of 2012.

The price basis for a “standard” room and “single occupation” is 1420 SEK (approximately €160), which makes this the best value for money in the Village.

During the winter of 2011, the specific profile of our customers enabled us to pinpoint facilities to be set up for their convenience. After a number of work meetings with hotel HORNAVAN we were able to find all the solutions.

From the point of view of facilities and equipment, the hotel has a sauna, a fitness room and a jacuzzi, all accessible at no extra cost.

As regards snowmobiles, excursions leave from the hotel, and it is also where all the rental cars are made available, if you have chosen to book through Centrale Voyages

As regards meals (lunch and dinner), they are systematically taken at hotel HORNAVAN for the following reasons:

  • For practical reasons, principally because it is near the room, combined with the fact that the slightest level of blood alcohol for drivers is strictly forbidden in Sweden. The lunch break is also an opportunity for a little nap after the buffet before resuming hostilities on the track at 2.30 pm.
  • Quality: Peter Byrne is the most renowned chef in the region, a specialist in local and international cuisine and he presides over the hotel HORNAVAN.
  • Speed: In the restaurants of Arjeplog, serving time can be long. With Peter ‘s pre-established quality evening menus, we make sure that you are served in reasonable time.
  • Value for money: for lunch, it will cost you about 10 euros for the all-you-can-eat buffet (all in with soft drinks, coffee, cookies, etc.) and in the evening 310 SEK (around €37) for the set 2-dish meal excluding drinks.
